Hello everyone. Our “Wind, Wool and Warmth Family Day” event is ready to go on Friday 23 (11am – 3pm) and Saturday 24 August 2024 (9am to 3pm). There will be Shearing demonstrations, Craft stalls, Steam Machinery, Spinners & Weavers, Painting Competition, Oakey Art display & sales, Mini Train Rides ($2), Whip Making, Billy Cart races and a Kids Corner where the kids can make a kite and fly it, face painting and colouring in. The Animal Nursery will have some very cute new lambs for the kids to pat. So much to enjoy for a day out. The Damper Hut will be open serving its famous Damper and Scones, together with other yummy foods. Coffee stalls on site also. Wear your funniest Woolley Jumper!! Gates open at 9:00am and the event finishes at 3:00pm. Come out and camp for the weekend at the Caravan Park and enjoy the peaceful surroundings for an authentic country experience. The new Camp Kitchen is open together with a fire pit. The fishing in the creek has been great lately with good size Cod being caught and released. The Jondaryan Woolshed Camping Grounds is open 365 days of the year. Powered & unpowered sites and creek sites. Come out, bring the family, friends and enjoy the beautiful area, fish in the creek, take a self-guided tour of the Jondaryan Woolshed or just sit and take a breath. We will have a new Camp Kitchen opened in the next few weeks and we are looking forward to that. Hello all. Just to let you know that the weekend of 27 & 28 April 2024 “Autumn Weekend/Anzac” has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. However, Jondaryan Woolshed will be open on Sunday 28 April for self-guided tours, a cup of tea or coffee (self serve) and an Anzac biscuit from 9:00am to 3:00pm. So come out and enjoy the history of Jondaryan Woolshed.
The team from Jondaryan Woolshed would like to extend the biggest “THANK YOU” especially the volunteers who came out the week before, helped set up, work and pack down for the “Easter Family Weekend”. Wholeheartedly appreciated.
We would like to thank the volunteers who put their time in over the Easter Weekend also, to ensure the weekend was a huge success. Again, really appreciated.
