Conditions of Stay


The Jondaryan Woolshed property is owned by Toowoomba Regional Council and operated by Jondaryan Woolshed.


It is a museum complex housing the heritage listed woolshed and also provides onsite accommodation options courtesy to our guests. All styles of accommodation are considered ‘family friendly’.

Payment Information

Full payment is required at the time of arrival to the Caretakers. Eftpos and Cash are accepted. (No American Express)
Admission to the museum and heritage listed Woolshed can be paid at the Caretakers upon arrival. The Museum is open Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm via Reception and 9am to 3pm weekends/public holidays via caravan park caretaker.


Any unruly behaviour, inappropriate acts, or breach of the onsite conditions and regulations that result in the patron being asked to leave the premises – no refund will be given.


Refunds will be processed on the same credit card that the purchase was originally made.


The Jondaryan Woolshed cannot be held responsible for external environmental conditions outside our control. In the case of flooding or other severe weather conditions, bookings will only be offered a refund if the establishment cannot safely be open for business.


Any special requests for refunds outside of the above details must be addressed to and approved by management of Jondaryan Woolshed. Approved refunds may take up to two weeks to process.


Check-in/Check-out

Check-in is at Caravan Park Caretakers Cottage (entrance 2).


Check-out is strictly 10am (1000 hrs). Late check-outs may be charged at an additional night’s accommodation and are to be pre-arranged through reception.


Keys

Upon departure, all keys to be returned to Caretakers Key Return Box as indicated by signage on exit.

Keys that are not returned will be charged to the credit card supplied at $40.00 each key.


Alcohol, Behaviour & Additional Charges

All guests have a right to the peaceful and quiet enjoyment of their site. Excessive noise, unruly behaviour, drunkenness or bad language is not tolerated in our park. A quiet time curfew after is in place after 9.30pm.

Alcohol may be consumed responsibly and in moderation by adults on your site or in BBQ area. Management reserves the right to evict any person/s from the premises immediately and without notice, or refund for any disturbances or unruly behaviour causing disruption to other guests. This may result in charges to the site user. These conditions are in conjunction with the conditions stated in the park map, at time of check-in or on acceptance of keys, and as deemed necessary by the management.


Only the designated person/s at the time of check-in, are permitted to stay in the accommodation, any additions to this will be charged for the duration of the booking.


Cleaning

Sites and accommodation must be left in a clean & tidy condition on departure, to avoid additional cleaning charges. No mechanical repairs are to be carried out within the park without prior management approval.


Smoking

All buildings are non-smoking inside. Smoking is prohibited within 5 metres from building entrances. There is a designated smoking area outside with containers for butts. Any traces of residual smoke inside, or reminisce of butts outside will incur an additional cleaning charge of $200.


Pets

The Jondaryan Woolshed Caravan Park is pet friendly however, pets are not allowed within the museum buildings (with exception of certified guide/care dogs or Woolshed owned animals). For the enjoyment and comfort of all guests, including your pets, the following park rules apply:


  • Keep pets on lead at all times. Should your pet require some off-leash time, there is an area along the creek (non-powered section) or open area below the chapel (refer to the map below or the caravan park rules information sheet). Please stay present and consider other guests, as well as our livestock that may be in the area at the same time.
  • Clean up after your pets immediately by wrapping their waste in a bag and disposing of the in rubbish bins provided.
  • Pets must be monitored to ensure noise levels are appropriate to avoid disturbing other guests.
  • Pets are not allowed in any park amenities including accommodation rooms, amenities block, camp kitchen, food outlets or museum grounds.
  • Please do not wash pets or pet bedding in the park facilities.
  • Due to health regulations, pets are not permitted inside our accommodation rooms. If there is any evidence of the pet being inside the rooms, it will incur an additional cleaning charge.


Failure to adhere to our pet policy may result in you being asked to leave the park immediately without refund.

Fires

When a total fire ban is in place no fires are allowed throughout the park. At other times fires are permitted using raised firepits. Please see the Caretakers for a current update on fire restrictions.


Caravan Parking

All caravans and camper trailers should be capable of being readily moved at all times and are to be parked with the draw bar facing the roadway.


Changes & Interpretation

We will not be responsible for any interpretation or misunderstanding about the premises booked and our cancellation policy will apply. Terms & conditions are subject to change without notification. While individual cabins/sites can be booked and all efforts of management will be made to maintain the booking for the cabin/site chosen, management do not guarantee the allocation of any specific cabin/site.


Liability

Management are not liable to guests or third parties for any personal injury loss or damage. The principal occupant must be over 18 and is responsible for their children’s and visitors actions. Guests must ensure that property and valuables are stored securely at all times.
